The basic rule to "not do harm to others" and to refrain from actions that may breach the civil obligation of duty of care is applicable not only to natural persons and legal entities but also to public bodies, such as the State and municipalities. The rule simply states that he who breaches the civil obligation of duty of care and as a result - inflicts loss or harm to another - is legally liable and has to repair the caused damages.

This is why we offer our clients an in-depth analysis of all relevant facts and circumstances relevant to a particular case regarding damages caused by a public body. CONSUMER RIGHTS

Consumer contracts provide additional protection to consumers in relation to their contractual rights and obligations, especially in the instance of unfair traders - such as right to information regarding the goods or services and right to truthful advertising; right to have faulty goods repaired or replaced; right to contracts without unfair clauses; right to withdraw from the contract and right to return most goods purchased online within 14 days, etc.

The Bulgarian Consumer Protection Act also regulates specific procedures and authorities with regard to violation of consumer rights.

It has to be noted that some consumer rights are applicable in the instance of receiving a consumer loan from banks or financial institutions.

This is why we offer our private clients advice and representation with regard to their consumer rights and contractual obligations, as well as representation in court and out-of-court dispute resolution procedures and representation infront of specific authorities, regulating consumer relations (such as the Commission for Consumer Protection and the Bulgarian Food Safety Agency).

ADMINISTRATIVE LAW & PROCEDURE

Administrative law governs the activities of executive government authorities. Basically this means that it regulates the activities of public bodies withing the administration itself and in some cases - outside of the administration. It is precisely because administrative activities can reach out to the private or business sphere that we offer services to our clients, which include but are not limited to:

- Receiving of public information;

- Registering, changing of circumstances and deregistering from public registers;

ENFORCEMENT

We offer advice and representation in enforcement procedures. Enforcement is the forced execution of court judgments and other enforceable titles. It is a procedure that tries to ensure that parties will comply with their obligations and with the courts' ruling. It is a way to force the unfair obligor (debtor) to act in accordance with his obligations. And although it is connected with the court's consideration of a certain claim, enforcement is an entirely different procedure that has to be viewed as a "natural continuation" to the preceding court procedure. There are specific legal entities that are unique to this procedure (ex. Private Enforcement Agents) and there are specific means for forcing the obligor to comply, which can have a serious effect on your legal sphere (such as seizure of remuneration; seizure of a bank account; foreclosure; etc.).

CRIMINAL DEFENCE & PROCEDURE

In order to present our clients with a full specter of services, we offer criminal defence attorney representation to individuals who have been charged or are accused of committing an alleged crime.

We offer criminal defence representation within the ongoing pre-court investigation procedure, as well as criminal defence representation in front of the ruling court; appealing of imposed restraining measures and other measures of procedural compulsion; representation in procedures in relation to the Extradition and European Arrest Warrant Act; advice and representation in sentence execution procedures.
